Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Women Owned Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: 1247EAW23R0026: GAOA Accessible Upgrade-Toilet (STF), Stanislaus National Forest. This project consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals as follows: This project is for the replacement of the vault restroom facilities within the Summit/Miwok and Calaveras Ranger District of the Stanislaus National Forest. Sites are specified in the construction plans and specifications. The work shall include cleanup and disposal of all removed building material from Forest Service lands. Location: This project is located within the Calaveras and Summit Ranger Districts of the Stanislaus National Forest in Alpine, Calaveras, and Tuolumne County, California. Hermit Valley Campground is located on Highway 4 approximately 37 miles East of Arnold, CA. Mosquito Lakes is located on Highway 4 approximately 34 miles East from Arnold, CA. Sand Flat 4WD Campground is located 22 miles East of Arnold CA. Continue on Highway 4, past Big Meadows Campground and to Forest Route 7N02. Lodgepole Campground is located 27 miles East of Arnold, CA on Highway 4. Crabtree Cross Country Trailhead is located near Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort, at the intersection of Dodge Ridge Road and Forest Route 4N06Y in Pinecrest, CA. Cascade Creek Campground is located 9 miles East of Strawberry, CA. Continue Highway 108 to Forest Route 5N28. A map of the project sites is contained within the Drawings. Solicitation 127EAW23R0026 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about April 24, 2023. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary to submit a proposal for this project. There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
