Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: 127EAW23R0009 - Bogard Fire Barracks Roof Repair Project: The project requires the furnishing of labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, and materials to install a standing seam metal roof onto the Bogard Work Center Fire Barracks building. The existing roof is a corrugated panel metal roof on a cross shaped one-story building. The roof is approximately 4,300 square feet at roughly a 5/12 pitch with a 3-foot eave overhang around the perimeter of the building; the eaves taper at the front and back ends of the building. This project is located at: USFS Bogard Work Center, Susanville, California, Lassen County. Solicitation Number 127EAW23R0009 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about March 14th, 2023. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary to submit a proposal for this project. There is currently a site visit scheduled for March 28th, 2023. The solicitation will include all site visit related information. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $25,000 and $100,000.
