Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: 127EAW23R0001: GAOA S.Sierra CG Day Use Site Toilet Replacement project, Sierra National Forest. This project consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals as follows: Camp 9 Campground: Demolition of one septic tank at location of previously demolished flush toilet building. Site preparation including minor site grading and compaction in preparation for placement of concrete for sidewalks. Construction of ADA accessible concrete sidewalks around two (2) new double vault toilet buildings installed in the campground on the main road as a pair of double toilets back-to-back. Construction of ADA accessible concrete sidewalks around one (1) double vault toilet installed at the Boat Ramp (Optional Bid Item). South Fork Recreation Area: Site preparation including minor site grading and compaction in preparation for placement of concrete for sidewalks. Construction of ADA accessible concrete sidewalks around two (2) new double vault toilet buildings installed as a pair of toilets (double double). Tillie Creek Campground: Demolition of seven septic tank at locations of old flush toilet buildings which have been replaced with vault toilet buildings. Three locations also have a sewage dosing tank to be demolished. Site preparation including minor site grading and compaction in preparation for placement of concrete for sidewalks. Construction of ADA accessible concrete sidewalks around fourteen (14) new double vault toilet buildings installed as seven (7) pairs (double doubles) in the campground. Project Location: State of California, County of Tulare, Within the Sierra National Forest, Porterville, California. Solicitation Number 127EAW23R0001 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about November 21st, 2022. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project.
