Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: 127EAW22R0042 - Caldor Fire Phase II Storm Proofing Project: This project consists of road reconditioning and restoring the drainage functions of the roads including cleaning ditches, leadoffs, and culvert inlets and outlets on selected roads. On native surface and gravel roads, road reconditioning also includes blading and out sloping the road wherever possible to provide proper drainage. Other items include increasing catch basin for some culverts, the installation of “Tee” and metal end sections. Project Location: State of California, County of El Dorado, Within the Caldor Fire footprint Solicitation Number 127EAW22R0042 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about May 24th, 2022. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project. There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
