This project is for the finish site work at nine vault toilet locations on the Inyo National Forest. The work is as described below: Construction of cast-in-place concrete sidewalks at nine (9) Day Use sites, as identified in the schedule of items and project drawings. Installation of Class 2 Rip Rap at one (1) Day Use site, as identified in the schedule of items and project drawings. Furnishing and placement of barrier rocks at four (4) Day Use sites, as identified in the schedule of items and project drawings. Removal and replacement of concrete wheel stops at one (1) Day Use site, as identified in the schedule of items and project drawings. Installation of concrete bollards at one (1) Day Use site, as identified in the schedule of items and project drawings. Furnishing and placement of CalTrans Class 2 aggregate base course at nine (9) Day Use sites, as identified in the schedule of items and project drawings. Installation of a 1” HDPE waterline and the installation of two (2) frost proof water hydrants at two (2) Day Use sites, as identified in the schedule of items and project drawings. Demolition of an existing asphalt sidewalk at one (1) Day Use site and the disposal of the debris off of National Forest land, as identified in the schedule of items and project drawings. Installation of pavement markings & striping and the removal of existing pavement markings, as identified in the schedule of items and project drawings. Installation of a concrete electrical box collar at one (1) Day Use site, as identified in the schedule of items and project drawings. Installation of a timber stairway at one (1) Day Use site, as identified in the schedule of items and project drawings. Construction of compacted aggregate trail sections at two (2) Day Use sites, as identified in the Schedule of Items and project drawings. Demolition of an existing wooden shed structure at one Day Use site, as identified in the schedule of items and project drawings. Includes hauling away the resulting debris and recontouring the demolition site. (Optional Bid Item #1).
