THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT MAY 16, 2022. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project at Sierra National Forest, Sierra Ranger District Office, McKinley Grove Picnic Site - includes install best management practices such as fiber rolls, wattles, erosion control products, etc., conduct removal and disposal of existing facilities such as signs, asphalt surface trail, and board edge along the asphalt surface trail, conduct slash cleanup around the interpretive trail and within the grove and picnic site and deliver the slash to burn piles on the forest for burning, construct a new asphalt surface trail, asphalt access aisles at accessible parking stalls, and asphalt aprons at interpretive signs including procurement and installation of aggregate base, paint traffic markings and striping, install a rock lined ditch to repair an eroded asphalt edge at the picnic site parking lot, construct picnic sites and hardened aggregate surface outdoor recreation access routes (ORARS) including procurement and installation of aggregate base and surface courses, install picnic tables, entrance signs, bulletin boards, stop signs, do-not-enter signs, accessibility signs, destination signs, and interpretive signs, and implement all other aspects shown on the plans. PROJECT LOCATION: From the High Sierra Ranger District Office, turn right onto CA-168 for 2.5 miles. Turn left to stay on CA-168 for 14.5 miles. Turn right onto Dinkey Creek Rd for 11.8 miles. Turn right onto McKinley Grove Road for 5.8 miles to reach McKinley Grove Picnic Site. Contractors shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies (unless specified elsewhere as Government-furnished), and incidentals required to accomplish specified work in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract. NAICS 237990 with size standard $39.5 mil. This project is set aside 100% for service-disabled veteran owned small business concerns.
