The project consists of completing emergency repairs to the Slater Butte Lookout, including: Replace stairwell Grout concrete footings Replace the elevated walkway and railing at the top of the lookout. Reconstruction shall match the materials/texture/paint color of the existing building. The FS will schedule a site visit for contractors before bids are due. Contractor is encouraged to submit questions to the Contracting Officer. Contractor shall work with FS personnel to verify the materials necessary. The FS will NOT supply the materials. The contractor is responsible for all equipment and labor.
