Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov/content/home). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: Sequoia SO Site Improvements: Furnish all labor, equipment and material to accomplish the Work under this contract, which consists of additional site improvements to a new 10,816 sf Supervisor’s Office on a 2-acre site which is currently under construction. Site improvements in this contract are described below: Pave the 38 vehicle aggregate surface parking lot in the northeast quadrant of the new SO site with 3” of hot mix asphalt, including concrete curbing, metal edging, striping, and wheel stops. Construct the employees picnic area under the eucalyptus trees north of the fence line, including sidewalks, pedestrian gate through the existing fence, and surfacing as shown on the drawings. Complete landscaping around the newly paved parking lot and employee picnic area north of the fenceline, including plantings and irrigation system as shown on the drawings. Construct the shade trellis over the patio area behind the new office. Install motors and controls on the double vehicle gate at the entrance to the parking area behind the new office, as shown on the drawings. Install outside lights around the new paved parking lot and on the shade trellis in the patio area as shown on the drawings. Solicitation Number 127EAW21R0088 for this effort will be posted to Beta.Sam.Gov (https://beta.sam.gov/) on or about August 6th, 2021. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project. There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary.
