This project consists of the installation of two Vehicle Burrier Gates for the Big Bear Discovery Center, (BBDC) employee parking lot. The two gates will be located at the opposing entery and exit points of the 2nd Mid-Parking Lot. Gate (One) will be the only entery point to the employee parking lot which is the closest to the BBDC building. The electrical and communication feeds will be installed from the BBDC Building to gate (One) since access to enter will require a card reader. Gate (Two) will have the electrical installed from the conduit of gate (One). The (Second) gate will be at the furthest westerly point of the parking lot and will be only an exit point. Gate (Two) will be operated by a magnetic strip reader. B. Other miscellaneous items in this project include minor site grading, power conduit overhead light structure for power connection, concrete slab-on-grade installation, asphalt concrete patching, this will include a pavement cut and running electrical conduit to both gates and the entery gate install the communication line and integrate into BBDC security system.
