This project is to perform exterior maintenance activities on the residence (1002) on the Georgetown Ranger District. The location of the work will be in Placer County at the Ranger station located at 7600 Wentworth Springs Road, Georgetown CA 95634. The residence was built in 1956 and is approximately 1175 sq ft. The primary focus of this contract will be to effectively seal and weatherproof the exterior of the building to prevent further deterioration of the interior. It is not known if there is asbestos or lead paint on the building and it will be up to the contractor to determine the presence of hazardous materials. If hazardous materials are present, the contractor will notify the COR and be prepared to adjust scope of work to include abatement of hazardous materials. Any paint used will be a semi-gloss exterior latex paint and the color will match existing or as close to existing as possible.
