Description of Work: The contract involves repairs of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system at the Placerville Nursery main office building. The base bid work includes removal and replacement of the existing single zone equipment (located in attic space), install new heat pump, install new digital programmable thermostat, sheet rock removal and replacement, and all necessary electrical work. Also, wall with new sheet rock shall be textured and painted to match existing walls. All material and equipment submittals shall be reviewed and approved by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Option #1 includes removal and replacement of all supply air fiber board trunk line and install new flexible ducting to all existing registers. Note existing galvanized return air system shall be used and all registers shall remain as is. Contractor Responsibility: The Contractor shall provide everything--including, but not limited to, all equipment, supplies, transportation, labor, and supervision--necessary to complete the project, except for that which the contract clearly states is to be furnished by the Government.
