This project is for professional facilitation services needed to establish and operate a new, organized collaborative effort comprised of governmental and non-governmental stakeholders involved or with expertise in forest management and ecological restoration on the Kaibab National Forest’s North Kaibab Ranger District (NKRD). Project goals include building trust among a diverse group of stakeholders; generating ideas for effective approaches to ecological restoration on the NKRD, including forest products industry resilience and sustainability; translating these ideas into project planning and implementation; and improving communication over the long term among Forest Service personnel and other NKRD stakeholders. Objectives include building a framework for collaborative discussions, convening stakeholders regularly to identify restoration needs and potential approaches to meeting these needs, and applying these outcomes to project- specific planning and implementation.
