REVISED - USDA Forest Service, Tonto National Forest has a revised requirement for supply of large boulders to a designated location on Mesa Ranger District, under Commercial Items format. This is not an order. This is an announcement of revised specifications to change the quantity. Large Boulders, approximately 3 to 4 feet in size. Estimated quantity of 550 each. To cover approximately 2500 linear feet to act as a barrier for vehicle. Material Color – Boulders should be comparable in color to the surrounding environment. This will be a light tan, pink, or soft gray color. No red colors will be accepted. Material Size – Boulders should be a minimum of 3 feet in width, up to 6 feet wide each. A variety of sizes is acceptable as long as the majority of the boulders (more than 85%) are more than 3 x 3 x 3 feet in size. The preferred boulder size is 4 x 4 x 4 feet. Delivery Requirement – Material must be delivered and off-loaded on-site. Material must be off-loaded from the method of transport (i.e. with dump truck or by providing a bobcat/skid steer). Machinery will not be made available at the project site the day of delivery for off-loading material. This solicitation is set-aside 100 percent for Small Business under the NAICS 327991 (500 Empl). Award will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Responses to this solicitation shall be sent by email in electronic format.
