General: The United States Department of Agriculture, Los Padres National Forest, Santa Lucia District, located in Santa Maria California, requires the general automotive repair, restoration, and bodywork for a fire damaged vehicle. Statement of the Work: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, diagnostic testing/equipment, parts, materials, and other items and/or services necessary to preform restoration services on EN8111. Description of Maintenance EN8111/ HT528 / 2016 / International Durastar / 4400 Chassis / Phenix Truck Body FS Helitender/ A374992/ 1HTMKAZL9GH379674 (VIN) requires restoration and body work. The vehicle was inside the Santa Ynez Station when a fire broke out in the locker room. Heat and smoke spread across the building and caused damage to the exterior of Heli Tender from about 5 feet to the top of the truck. The restoration required includes repainting of bumper, hood, fender extensions, and box. The vehicle will need items replaced such as the grill, intake panel, hood emblem, headlights, signal lights, and headlamp bezel. Main cab replacement parts include windshield, wipers, clearance lamps, headliner, door glass and mirror assemblies.
