The intent of this contract is to secure forestry related services to perform fuelbreak maintenance activities on 86 acres of mixed chaparral shrub lands adjacent to the community of Pine Valley, California, in southeastern San Diego County and within the Descanso Ranger District of the Cleveland National Forest. Contractor activities include cutting of live and dead shrubs with chainsaw, hand piling activity slash in addition to any existing dead and down woody debris; and covering piles with kraft paper. NO scheduled Site Visit. Contractors may visit site on their own.
