Purpose of the contract is to determine the presence or absence of the endangered bird species Southwestern Willow Flycatcher (SWFL) and Least Bell’s Vireo (LBVI) in pre-identified areas of suitable habitat on the San Bernardino National Forest (SBNF) during the 2021 field season. This information will be used by the SBNF for project planning and may be used in Section 7 consultation with the US Fish & Wildlife Service. Questions are due no later than March 26, 2021.
