The county issued a letter to haulers August 25 stating no campground waste would be accepted at Union Mine WWTP. That letter was rescinded August 28 with new information. Vendors are advised to contact El Dorado County Environmental Management Department for information on the changes to the Union Mine WWTP acceptance criteria and procedures. Note: The Union Mine WWTP is not a required site for disposal under the proposed contract. Vendors may identify whatever legal and appropriate disposal sites they wish; however, it is anticipated that most vendors would plan to use Union Mine WWTP to some extent. This extension is made with the expectation that vendors will assess their operating plans and costs such that they quote prices that are realistic, fair, and competitive. Quotes already submitted may be revised up to the new closing date and time: Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 0900 Pacific Time.
