The US Forest Service is soliciting quotes for delivery of 2 utility or ranch type UTVs, one 4-passenger and one 2-passenger, with snow tracks, cargo capacity, and towing capacity. These vehicles will be used to transport fire crews to remote snow-covered sites for the purpose of pile burning in winter, and over rough terrain in support of fire suppression efforts in the dry season. Vehicles must be capable of carrying personnel and equipment such as drip torches and fuel containers. The vehicles will be delivered to, and used in, the state of California and must meet all state emissions requirements.
