This solicitiation is being reopened with the bids due date extended to 8/17/2020 by 5:00 pm. central time. Jessieville Ranger District Work Center Metal Building Upgrades Insulate the Jessieville Work Center storage building, cover with a thermal barrier, replace existing overhead doors with insulated units, provide new automatic garage door openers, provide a propane gas unit heater, coordinate installtion of a leased propane tank, and provide all electrical, gas plumbing and other incidental work. The Jessieville Work Center is located at 8607 Highway 7 North, Jessieville, AR. Request to call or email the COR/Matt Kauffman, 501-321-5302, matthew.kauffman@usda.gov before you visit the site. Any prospective quoter desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, specifications, etc., must request it in writing soon enough to allow a reply to reach all prospective bidders before submission of their quotes. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. A bid guarantee is not required to be submitted with the quote. A Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful quoter within 10 days of award if the award amount is over $35,000.00. The Government will award one solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose response best conforms to the solicitation and which will be the most advantageous to the Government; price, past performance and technical capability are the considered factors.
