The scope of this contract is to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to conduct reliable timber stand examinations. The work performed and the data collected shall be in compliance with the terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of this solicitation and the current version of the Common Stand Exam Field Guide for Region 8. The contractor’s electronic data shall successfully transmit to the Forest Service’s FSVeg Database System using computer equipment on the Ouachita National Forest. This is a Request for Quotes which will result in a firm-fixed price, performance-based, requirements contract for a period of performance from October 2020 through the end of September, 2021. The government anticipates making award to one offeror as a result of the solicitation. This project is set-aside 100% for small businesses. Award will be made based on lowest priced technically acceptable to the government and can be made on initial offers. Funds are available at this time, however it may be pulled before the award can be approved. If that is the case, this solicitation will be canceled. An organized site visit is not scheduled.
