This is a Presolicitation notice being released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5. The USDA Forest Service (FS), East Zone, has a requirement for an estimate of 12 Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) to provide Vegetative Management / Wildlife Protection Services on an as-needed basis on the Ouachita National Forest in Arkansas and Oklahoma. This procurement will be solicited using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 115310—Support Activities for Forestry, with a small business size standards of $10 Million. The BPA contracts will have a ceiling of $7.5 Million. The ordering period will be five (5) years from the effective date of the award or when the ceiling of $7.5 Million is reached, whichever comes first. Request for Proposal (RFP) for this acquisition will be released on or about January 7, 2023 and will close approximately January 31, 2023. This acquisition will be competed as a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks to provide information to interested parties about potential opportunity to perform Vegetation Management / Wildlife Protection Services. This Presolicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Presolicitation Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Presolicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract.
