DESCRIPTION: The Mark Twain National Forest is advertising a project on the Potosi/Fredericktown Ranger District in Missouri. Project consists of the construction of new campground sites; restrooms and shower facilities; RV dump station; water well; water, wastewater and electrical distribution systems. The Contractor will be required to provide all transportation, material, labor, supervision, equipment, operators, tools, supplies, licenses, permits and other incidentals as required in the Schedule of Items and Specifications of the solicitation necessary to accomplish the work as depicted in the drawings and described in the Scope and Specifications. DIRECTIONS: From Steelville, MO, take MO Hwy 19 south for 10 miles, turn left or south on MO Hwy 49 for 5.2 miles, go straight on Hwy V for 2.3 miles. Turn left into Red Bluff Recreation Area entrance. GOVERNMENT PRICE ESTIMATE: The Government's estimated price range for the total of all items combined is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Interested parties are advised that registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database is required prior to award of a contract. There is no cost for registration in SAM when registration is completed on the official SAM website (www.sam.gov). SET-ASIDE: This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 237990 – Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction; the Small Business size standard is $36.5 million. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: 1264R420R0004 is being issued as an RFP and will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation and related documents will only be issued electronically via beta SAM and are expected to be available on or about 05 August 2020.
