DESCRIPTION: The USDA-Forest Service is advertising a wastewater decommissioning project for the Big Bay Recreation Area located near Shell Knob, MO. The Contractor will be required to provide all transportation, material, labor, supervision, equipment, operators, tools, supplies, licenses, permits and other incidentals as required in the Schedule of Items and Specifications of the solicitation necessary to perform the services. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Interested parties are advised that registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database is required prior to award of a contract. There is no cost for registration in SAM when registration is completed on the official SAM website (www.sam.gov). SET-ASIDE: This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 238190 Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors. The Small Business size standard is $16.5 Million. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: Solicitation 1264R420Q0015 is being issued as an RFQ and will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation and related documents will only be issued electronically via Contract Opportunities on beta.sam.gov and are expected to be available for downloading on or around August 10, 2020 from https://beta.sam.gov/. All responsible sources may submit a quote which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. Pre-Bid Conference scheduled for August 13, 2020 @ 1100 at the project site. Directions: From Springfield, MO, take MO-413 S/West Sunshine St. for 17.3 miles. Continue straight onto US-60 W for 11.0 more miles and turn left onto State Hwy 39. Take State Hwy 39 for 26.9 miles. Make a slight left onto State Hwy YY for 2.8 miles. Turn left onto Big Bay Road for 0.7 miles and then turn right onto Big Bay Campground Road for 0.4 miles to the campground entrance.
