The USDA Forest Service, Minnesota Shared Services Contracting Unit, Superior National Forest anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal for firm fixed price type contract. It is the intent of this contract to acquire Rare Plant Survey services required for the Superior National Forest, for a survey to be performed in the 2020 field season. Work will consist of performing botanical surveys for 3 different purposes: 1) RFSS plant survey, 2) Forestwide RFSS lichen survey, and 3) Native Plant Community Typing and Mapping. The solicitation and related documents will ONLY be available for download at this site on or about , April 14, 2020. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. The magnitude of the resulting contract is expected to be between $50,000 and $100,000. NAICS: 115310, the size standard is $6.5 Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to applicable wage rates. Solicitation number: 12639A920R0003. NAICS: 115310, the size standard is $6.5 Million. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to Service Contract Act wage rates. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the USDA Forest Service. This is a synopsis, the full solicitation documents including specifications will be issued on or about April 14, 2020. Work location is at the Superior National Forest, Northeast Minnesota.
