This procurement is being conducted FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures; therefore, competitive range determinations as provided for in FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation, are not applicable under this FAR Part 13 acquisition. Contract Overview and Period of Performance: USDA anticipates awarding one (1) Firm-Fixed Price contract from this solicitation. USDA anticipates the resulting period of performance will be one (1) base year with four (4) one-year option periods from the effective date of the contract, a total of five (5) years if all options are exercised. The period of performance for the base year will be January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023. This contract includes the clause FAR 52.217-8, which if exercised, may add up to an additional 6 months to the contract in addition to the total of five years. The anticipated maximum Period of Performance for this requirement is January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2027, and if the final option year is extended up to six (6) months in accordance with FAR 52.217-8, the final expiration date of this contract will be June 30, 2028, a total of five (5) years and six (6) months.
