Installation of Livestock Holding Pens and Chutes
USDA is expanding its New World Screwworm detector dog training program at the National Detector Dog Training Center in Newnan, GA, where goats must be housed on-site to help dogs safely acclimate to livestock environments. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment to design and install fenced enclosures, shelters, flooring, utilities, water systems, and a simulated chute-training environment. All work must comply with USDA facility, animal-welfare, and safety standards and integrate with existing NDDTC infrastructure. The contractor must begin work immediately upon receiving notice to proceed and diligently complete the entire project ready for use by October 16, 2026. This is a rapid-delivery requirement, so timely execution is critical.
