Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

The USDA Medfly Preventative Release Program requires the complete removal and disposal of an existing backup generator system and the installation of a new, fully functional system. The work involves decommissioning the old generator, automatic transfer switch, fuel tank, and concrete pad, then furnishing and installing new equivalents. The new generator must have a minimum standby capacity of 100 kW. The contractor must also supply up to 550 gallons of new diesel fuel for startup and testing and provide all necessary submittals, manuals, and training.
