The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health and Inspection Services (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS) intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for a Mobile Biocontainment Laboratory System that is modular and scalable, meets the stringent requirements for biosafety level-2 and level-3, in support of diagnostics associated with high-consequence livestock pathogens. The RFQ will be posted to this pre-solicitation synopsis. The Government intends to award a single or multiple fixed-price contract. The solicitation and the associated documents will be available on www.SAM.gov All notifications of changes to the solicitation will be made through SAM.gov. It is the contractor's responsibility to check for any posted changes to the solicitation. The applicable NAICS is 336214. All responsible sources may submit a quote to be considered by the agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract.
