(DELTA DESIGNS LTD) General Information 1.0 Scope of Work Four (4) microslide cabinets for the Smithsonian Institute for the Entomology collection. This will allow USDA to move their current collection from Beltsville, MD location to the Smithsonian Institute as the personnel that use and support this collection will also be moving to the Smithsonian. Contractor Requirements 3.0 Technical Requirements / Tasks The microslide cabinet will be 33.25w x 63h x 15d, finish in Yoke White and estimated weight 578 lbs. The total tray capacity of each cabinet is 448 spaced equally at ½ intervals upon metal glides. It will have 420 trays with divide tabs and finger holes. Trays have a 20-slide capacity of 1x 3 slides. Doors swing 180 degrees on lift off hinges. (drawings have been provided) Delivery and installation of the cabinets. 4.0 Government Furnished Delivery of the cabinets between the hours of 8:30 am and 4 pm Monday through Friday.
