Southern Research Station, USDA Forest Serivce would like to purchase 2- XRF40 Pro-Drive motors with auto-reverse in Hex Camo, Tiller Steer. These motors will be used to collect survey data, install GPS transmitters on Double-crested Cormorants, harass Double-crested Cormorants and American White Pelicans, and to collect nesting data from sites covered in aquatic vegetation, stumps, cypress knees, trees, and shallow mud flats in and around the MS Delta region. These motors will be used in the sun, rain, snow, and other inclement weather year-round in places where traditional outboards cannot run without overheating.
