The new coating will include a 46 mesh white aluminum oxide traction coat on the new sealed floor surface. The existing floor has a 16-year-old Dudick epoxy coating that has a worn porous surface and a urethane cement base coat that is in good condition and needs to be recoated. The work will take place at the National Centers for Animal Health at 1920 Dayton Ave, Ames, IA. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
