The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Animal Care (AC) program has a requirement for equine blood sample analysis. The AC program is seeking a contractor to provide the sampling supply equipment and perform the chemical analysis of the blood samples taken from horses competing at horse shows regulated under the Horse Protection Act (HPA). The Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, qualified personnel, supplies, and equipment necessary to provide the blood testing/analysis services in accordance with the requirements specified in the statement of work in the solicitation. A firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity commercial services and supply contract is anticipated for this requirement. The anticipated effective period of the contract shall be on or about November 28, 2022, or sooner if practicable. The contract will include three ordering periods, each twelve months in duration. The solicitation, 12639523Q0006, will be released on or about October 24, 2022. After release, one may download a copy of the solicitation at www.sam.gov. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO CONTRACTORS REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR AMENDMENTS. Quotes shall be submitted to the contracting activity by the date and time indicated in the request for quote.
