The United States Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA) Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) Asian Longhorned Beetle (ALB) eradication program intends to contract for ground and climbing tree surveys for the detection of ALB in Worcester County, Massachusetts. The survey requires surveyors to thoroughly inspect host trees for signs of ALB infestation on public and private property. The program's goal for this contract is to detect all ALB infested trees in order to eliminate the infestation. This acquisition will be performed using commercial and simplified acquisition procedures. This procurement will be conducted as small business set-aside under NAICS code: 115310. The intent is to award one or more fixed price IDIQ contract for five (5) years with an estimated total value of about $20 million. Solicitation number 12639522R0046 will be posted on or about July 18, 2022.
