The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, intends to issue an RFP to upgrade the electrical distribution system to 15 buildings at the New York Animal Import Center in Rock Tavern, NY. Work includes the demolition/disconnection and replacement of main service panels (480Y/277V, 3ph, 4w), secondary panels (280/120V), building transformers and motor starters for roof exhaust fans. The requirement also includes demolition of equipment, conduit, and wiring, electrical fuse link disconnection and reconnection at existing pole-mounted transformers. New conduit shall be rigid galvanized type and wiring shall be copper. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. The small business size standard is $16.5 million.
