The US Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Veterinary Stockpile (NVS) is the nation's repository of critical veterinary supplies, equipment, and service resour... This is a pre-soliciation notice. The US Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Veterinary Stockpile (NVS) is the nation's repository of critical veterinary supplies, equipment, and service resources. The NVS deploys products like animal vaccine, antivirals, equipment, or therapeutic products to appropriately respond to damaging animal diseases affecting human health and the economy that are likely to be unavailable in sufficient quantities for large outbreaks. States, industries (as part of the incident command system), and NVS commercial partners will use the products and related equipment to respond to large-scale outbreaks. The NVS utilizes its commercial partners to store its inventory in multiple locations and in sufficient volume to ensure its ability to respond to multiple, large-scale, simultaneous animal disease outbreaks. The USDA intends to post a request for quote solicitation, for contracts with commercial partners, to the market by close of business on June 22, 2022.
