The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Wildlife Services intends to contract for analytical chemistry methods development and validation, FIFRA GLP Preliminary (5-batch) Analysis study and drafting of an Enforcement Analytical Method for the pesticide active ingredient, hardwood charcoal. APHIS will be applying to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to add a new unregistered source of a pesticide active ingredient (hardwood charcoal) to APHIS’s pesticide product registrations in accordance with Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). This acquisition will be performed using commercial and simplified acquisition procedures. This procurement will be conducted full and open under NAICS code: 541380. The intent is to award a fixed price purchase order for five months. Solicitation number 12639522Q0084 will be posted on or about February 10, 2022.
