The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Wildlife Services (APHIS-WS) intends to procure fully refined paraffin wax used in the manufacturing of feed blocks for use in servicing of Brown Tree Snake (BTS) traps located on Guam and islands of the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas. Wax would be used to combine assorted bird seeds, grains, and pellets into a block form. Consistency of supply and quality of product are paramount in awarding contract. The contractor will maintain at their location an uninterrupted supply of 1,415 pounds available to ship within fourteen (14) days’ notice throughout length of contract, with the exception of the very first delivery order. The contractor will provide approximately 5,660 pounds of fully refined paraffin wax annually throughout the length of contract. This is a presolicitation notice that USDA APHIS Wildlife Services intends to establish one IDIQ contract to procure slabs of fully refined paraffin wax used in the manufacturing of feed blocks for use in servicing of Brown Tree Snake (BTS) traps located on Guam and islands of the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas. Wax would be used to combine assorted bird seeds, grains, and pellets into a block form. The wax will be delivered to located at 233 Pangelinan Way, Barrigada, Guam 96913-1277. Wax to be delivered within 14 days after delivery order is issued with an exception for the very first delivery order. Timely delivery of this paraffin wax is most important, and pricing shall reflect FOB destination shipping costs. The solicitation will be posted within the next day.
