USDA APHIS The NVS seeks a contract to purchase a horizontal grinder unit for use during animal health emergencies or other situations where depopulation must be accomplished for humane reasons. The equipment will be used to grind, stabilize, and reduce volume of materials prior to composting or another disposal method. Amendment 1 will be issued by July 29, 2020 if not sooner and will provide answers to questions received and include an extended due date for proposals. Amendment 2 is issued to correct an error on the pricing schedule. Required submissions to be responsive: 1. Acknowledge all amendments by completing blocks 8, 15 a-c. and follow any requested instructions on each of the forms. 2. Submit one cost proposal and one technical proposal. 3. Complete key personnel designations on pages 15-16 of the solicitation and submit. 4. Submit a completed copy of the SF-1449 Form signed and dated. 5. Submit a completed pricing schedule read and comply accordingly with instructions accordingly under Amendment 0002. If there are any questions about submissions refer back to page 22 of Amendment 0001
