The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services (WS) in Barrigada, Guam intends to procure live female mice to be used as attractants in Brown Tree snake (BTS) traps located in Guam and islands of the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas. The health and well-being of the live mice are of paramount importance in awarding a contract. This procurement will be awarded as a commercial supply, Firm Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) ordering contract for a period not to exceed 5 years, FOB destination. This solicitation will be issued as a total small business set-aside. The Government anticipates awarding a fixed-price Ordering type contract. The appropriate NAICS code for this procurement is 112990 – All Other Animal Production with a small business size standard of $1.0 Million dollars. On a quarterly basis (every 13 weeks), approximately N=620 live adult female mice will be delivered to the Barrigada Office during the work week (Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Friday on Holiday weeks) beginning on the week of September 07, 2020. Vendor to ensure an uninterrupted supply of rodent feed is delivered weekly unless occurrences beyond vendors control dictate a shortage. In this instance, the vendor will provide the maximum amount available and make up shortages in successive deliveries. THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS NOT OBLIGATED TO SEND NOTIFICATIONS TO INDIVIDUALS REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS.
