The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS) LC, National Veterinary Stockpile (NVS) program intends to use commercial and simplified acquisition procedures to secure a single award 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to supply approximately 1,500 boxes (1,000 tags per box) of barcoded swine backtags per year. The activity will request swine backtags that are state specific, individually lettered/ numbered, weatherproof, rigid, and barcoded, among other specifications. This procurement will be a small business set-aside per NAICS:323111 Commercial Printing (except Screen and Books). The size standard is 500 employees. The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), distributes swine backtags for all United States (U.S.) livestock markets and slaughter facilities, storing stores its inventory in multiple locations and in sufficient volume to ensure its ability to respond to multiple, large-scale, simultaneous animal disease outbreaks. Quotes must clearly demonstrate ability to comply with the specifications of the backtags, time frame and the delivery requirements specified in the Solicitation attached hereto.
