The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), International Services (IS), fruit fly program in Mexico is seeking to establish multiple year contracts for a contractor to perform aerial release services of sterile insects in Tijuana and Reynosa Mexico. The contractor will be required to provide qualified pilots, a fixed wing aircraft and modify the aircraft to incorporate the government owned sterile insect release equipment. All services will be conducted in Tijuana and Reynosa at the government base of operations. All contract services shall be performed in a professional manner and shall comply with Mexican regulations set by the Dirección General de Aeronautica Civil (DGAC). Firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity commercial services contracts are anticipated. THIS NOTICE IS THE SYNOPSIS ONLY. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO CONTRACTORS REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS.
