STATEMENT OF SERVICES This project involves providing furniture and ancillary furniture items for the USDA APHIS Veterinary Services Deputy Administrator the building located at 1400 Independence Avenue SW, 320-E, Whitten, Washington, DC 20250. This furniture is for the VS Deputy Administrator's Suite. The furniture is being ordered to assist with the reconfiguration of the office space for the Chief of Staff, support staff, and reception area. The reconfiguration of the space will not be functional with the current furniture which is not conducive to a productively functioning office space flow. The space in the Whitten Bldg is utilized for high level meetings and receiving of SES level and above personnel. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO ABIDE BY ALL LOCAL ORDINANCES GOVERNING THE PROJECT LOCATION. Installation timeframe: will be scheduled between the hours of 8am-5pm. Coordinate installation date/s with the VS Chief of Staff. This a four story building. There is a loading dock. There are passenger elevators and a service elevator. Manufacturing requirements: The manufacturer shall be expected to provide commercial grade furniture to meet the design intent. Lead time should be within the industry standard of 6-8 weeks from receipt of order.
