The U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations has a requirement for law enforcement vehicle up-fitting for General Patrol, K9, and Investigations vehicles. The Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)contract will include the acquisition of supplies, services of up-fitting, and the final delivery of the vehicle to the designated duty location with Forest Service Region 9. Map of Region 9 https://www.fs.usda.gov/detailfull/r9/home/?cid=stelprd3799515&width=full The objective of the contract is to supply a fully up-fitted law enforcement vehicle that meets upfitting requirements. Each requirement will vary, depending on the designation of the vehicle. Each vehicle must function as an emergency vehicles (red/blue emergency lights and sirens), provide for the security of prisoners (except investigations vehicle), and provide law enforcement operational capabilities to the vehicle operator. This contract will provide for up-fitting services for an anticipated volume of approximately 29 vehicles. The current needs are 23 General Patrol, 1 K9, and 5 Investigation vehicles. The anticipated vehicles for up-fitting are 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 SSV, 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe SSV, 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 SSV, and 2020 Ford Expedition SSV. Any of these vehicle models could be up-fitted into the below vehicle designations.
