The U.S. Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations has a requirement for law enforcement vehicle up-fitting for General Patrol, K9, and Investigations vehicles. The Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)contract will include the acquisition of supplies, services of up-fitting, and the final delivery of the vehicle to the designated duty location with Forest Service Region 9. Each requirement will vary, depending on the designation of the vehicle. Each vehicle must function as an emergency vehicles (red/blue emergency lights and sirens), provide for the security of prisoners (except investigations vehicle), and provide law enforcement operational capabilities to the vehicle operator. This contract will provide for up-fitting services for an anticipated volume of approximately 29 vehicles. The current needs are 23 General Patrol, 1 K9, and 5 Investigation vehicles. The anticipated vehicles for up-fitting are 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 SSV, 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe SSV, 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 SSV, and 2020 Ford Expedition SSV. Any of these vehicle models could be up-fitted into the below vehicle designations.
