The JW Toumey Nursery announces an opportunity to provide bareroot seedling lift, pack, grade and containerize services. The JW Toumey Nursery is located off of Old US Hwy 2E, near Watersmeet, Michigan in Gogebic County. The services to be performed in this contract include lifting and loading of bareroot seedlings and processing of bareroot and container seedlings. This solicitation is a 100% small business set aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 115310. The Small Business Administration size standard is $7.5 million. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any will be provided. The Government anticipates award of a single performance based service contract for a five year period of performance; one base year and four option years. The contract award date is anticipated to be late February 2020. All responsible and fully responsive small business firms may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the FBO website(beta.sam.gov). The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, quality control and incidentals other than items specified as Government furnished, to perform all work necessary. Services are typically performed between the months of March and May, with options for fall and winter work. Estimated start work is spring 2020.
