The purpose of the amendment/update dated 5/19/20 is to upload the attached solicitation amendment 01. The USDA Forest Service, Lake States Acquisition Team, announces a Small Business Set-Aside, Request for Quotation opportunity for the Ottawa National Forest’s 2020 South Zone Marking Contract 1. Work consists of timber marking and cruising per the specifications attached to the solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 115310. The Small Business Administration size standard is $8 million. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in order to be considered for award. Registering in the SAM system is FREE. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the pending solicitation or any follow up information requests. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the FedBizOpps website. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment and materials to complete the work described in the solicitation.
