The Lakes States Acquisition Team announces opportunity CN Oconto River Seed Orchard – Siding and Lean-To on the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in Oconto County. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. The Small Business Administration size standard is $39.5M. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in order to be considered for award. Quoters are required to be registered in SAM at the time a quotation is submitted in order to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the solicitation or any follow up information requests. The solicitation is posted to this SAM – Contract Opportunities announcement and no hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. The work consists of replacing metal siding, trim, weather resistive barrier, and flashing on the southeast wall of the storage building, this will require removal and disposal of some un-needed existing building penetrations associated with abandoned building systems and removal and reconnection of other existing building systems penetrations including but not limited to vents, flues, natural gas piping, electrical conduit and conductors, refrigerant lines. The work also includes demo and removal of existing lean-to and gas meter enclosure. The option items include constructing a lean-to structure over HVAC condensers adjacent to wall scheduled for siding replacement and constructing small protective enclosure over existing gas meter.
