This amendment extends the close date to June 8, 2020 in order to allow vendors time to include pricing for optional line item 4, demolition of existing buildings. Vendors shall use the revised schedule of items. See the additional attachments. This amendment changes the site visit to May 21, 2020 at 1:00 PM ET. The location remains the same. THIS IS AN INVITATION FOR BID SOLICITATION. The Hiawatha National Forest announces an opportunity for the Raco Work Center Silviculture Pole Barn. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204(b), the estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000 for the total project. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236210. The Small Business Administration size standard is $36.5 million. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the Beta SAM website, beta.sam.gov. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment and materials to complete the project on time and on schedule. The intent of this contract is to provide a new 2,800 gross square feet pole barn. The new structure will be heated and include space for fleet storage, equipment area, tractor trailer drop off area for supplies, and an area for welding and air compressor. The structure will also have an extended shed roof approximately 887 gross square feet. No reimbursement will be made for costs associated with providing information in response to this solicitation or any follow-up information requests.
