Amendment 1 extends the bid response date/time to 8/28/19 at 2:30 Central. This solicitation is a re-advertisement of 12569R19R0001, FR8100-0.4 Over S. Br. Presque Isle River Bridge. This re-advertisement changes the design, via attachments A-D to a timber superstructure with timber substructure & timber pier caps with CIP concrete steel shell piles. The original design, a concrete superstructure with concrete substructure & concrete piers remains in the solicitation as attachments E-G. Award will be made to one contractor, funds and other bid considerations permitting. Offerors must submit bids for all items in either Attachment A or Attachment E, though offerors are encouraged to provide bids for both Attachment A and Attachment E. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to the lowest priced responsive and responsible offeror, for either the base item (attachment A) or optional item (attachment E), even if the optional item is a higher cost than the lowest priced base item. The decision to award the base or optional item will be made after bids are submitted. NAICS - 237310, small business size standard $36.5 million This project is advertised as unrestricted. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1 million.
