The USDA Forest Service, Lake States Acquisition Team, announces a Small Business Set-Aside, Invitation for Bid opportunity for the Mondeaux Recreation Site Restoration & Rehabilitation project on the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The project will restore and rehabilitate the Mondeaux Lodge, Quarters Building, Garage, and various site work. Work also includes improvements at the Glacial Springs artesian well site. Work generally includes mechanical, plumbing, and electrical improvements. Historic restoration of doors, windows, chimneys, siding, and other historic features. Buildings will be reroofed. Site work includes new concrete sidewalks, exterior lighting, and new septic systems. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220. The Small Business Administration size standard is $36.5 million. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov in order to be considered for award. Registering in the SAM system is FREE. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis, the pending solicitation or any follow up information requests. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website at www.fbo.gov on or about June 18, 2019. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, labor, equipment and materials to complete the work described in the solicitation.
