This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Cold Hill Pre-harvest Site Preparation for Natural Regeneration with Herbicide on the London Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest in Laurel County, Kentucky. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, tools, supervision, supplies and incidentals except as listed under government furnished property; to perform all work required to complete Cold Hill Pre-harvest Site Preparation for Natural Regeneration with Herbicide, in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions of this contract. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A site showing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM EST. Prospective offerors shall meet at the London Ranger District office located at 761 S. Laurel Road, London, KY 40744. The Forest Service contemplates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used.
